VENUS OF MILO

Under this name is known the statue of Aphrodite found in two pieces by a farmer on the Greek island of Milos in 1820 which is hosted at the Museum of Louvre in Paris. The Venus has hair gathered and slightly wavy. The hair, combined with the drapery of the lower part, allows you to admire the exceptional play of light that has helped to make the beauty of this statue eternal, representing and symbolizing female beauty in the classical world.
